In the first game of the doubleheader in the dome on Saturday the Lady Rams took the court and honored four senior girls three of which had a great game for the Lady Rams.

Bluefield, VA—In the first game of the doubleheader in the dome on Saturday the Lady Rams took the court and honored four senior girls three of which had a great game for the Lady Rams.

The Lady Rams lost to Montreat College 71- 61 despite hard efforts by seniors Kiara Honore'. Katrina Morris, and Kiara Williams. Leading the Lady Rams in scoring was junior Kia Gilliard who averaged 13 points in the game.

Gilliard was 5-15 inside, 3-9 in three pointers, she also added on two rebounds and two assists. Following behind Gilliard was senior Kiara Honore' who added on 12 points she was also 5-15 inside, 2-8 in three pointers, with three rebounds and one assist.

Kiara Williams added on 10 points for the Lady Rams, she was 3-12 inside, 3-8 in three pointers, 1-2 in free throws. Williams was the team leader in rebounds with seven and in assists with 2 for the Lady Rams.

Takieya Rouse and Jasmin Washington each added on nine points a piece for the Lady Rams. Rouse was 3-11 inside, 3-3 in free throws and contributed six rebounds. Washington was 4-12 inside and 1-2 in free throws. Leading Montreat in scoring was Chaecie Bullock with 27 points.

The Lady Rams will be the number six seed in the Appalachian Athletic Conference Tournament and will most likely spend the majority of the time on the road.
