Lady Rams Get First Conference Win Against Reinhardt
The Bluefield College Lady Rams enjoyed their first conference win against rival Reinhardt University, 63-52, in the dome on Wednesday.

Bluefield, VA—The Bluefield College Lady Rams enjoyed their first conference win against rival Reinhardt University, 63-52, in the dome on Wednesday.

The Lady Rams (1-0: 4-9) were leading at the half 38-24 to keep the momentum rolling into the second half to take the victory for BC. Leading the Lady Rams in scoring was junior point guard Kia Gilliard who had 16 points. Gilliard was also 8-15 in the field with three rebounds and two assists in the victory.
Takieya Rouse, a junior wing had nine points in the win, she was also perfect in free throws (2-2) and in three pointers (1-1). Senior Lady Rams Katrina Morris and Kiara Honore' each had eight points in the conference victory.
The Lady Rams will play on the road against conference rival Milligan College on Saturday, January 8, tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 pm in Johnson City, Tennessee. The Lady Rams will return home to face Pikeville College on January 10 and January 12 the Lady Rams will continue with conference action versus Union College.
