
Lady Rams Gain Huge Momentum Going Into Conference Game
The Lady Rams received a huge confidence booster winning against Pikeville College 70-62

Bluefield, VA-- The Lady Rams received a huge confidence booster winning against Pikeville College, 70-62 leading into a conference match- up against Union College on Wednesday.

Up by nine points heading into half time the Lady Rams (6-10) came out charging in the second half. Antonia Cataldi led the team in scoring with 15 points she was 6-11 inside the line and was 3-6 in three- pointers. Takieya Rouse also had a great game for the Lady Rams scoring 10 points, she was a perfect three for three in free throws and also had four rebounds in the game.
Megan Randall also had a huge game for the Lady Rams scoring nine points.Randall was 4-10 inside the line and she had four rebounds leading to the win against fellow National Athletic Intercollegiate Association (NAIA) rival. Kia Gillard, Jasmin Washington, and Katrina Morris each contributed eight points in the game.
The Lady Rams shot 55% in free throws and 38% both at the line and in three pointers during the game.
Pikeville College's leading scorers were Natiera Hinton who scored 19 points and Brogan Conley who scored 11 points in the 70-62 loss for the school. Hinton also had 12 rebounds for the team.
The Lady Rams will face off against Union College (11-5) in a key conference match-up on Wednesday, January 12 at 5:30 pm in the BC Dome.
