Bluefield, VA-- The JV Rams Basketball team concluded their season on Friday against New River Community College 113-67 to finish out the season on an eleven game winning streak.

Dmitry Zimin led the JV Rams in scoring as the team wrapped up their season with a win against NRCC.

The JV Rams saw a great amount of success this season dominating a significant amount of their game. Leading the JV Rams in scoring was Dmitry Zimin who netted 28 points against New River Community College. Following closely behind Zimin in scoring was A.J. Brown who had 23 points in the victory.

Team work really was the motto behind this season for the JV Rams, they played each game as one unit which contributed to the success on the court. Brian Daniels, Courtney Pulley, and Alvin Board played into that motto for the JV Rams.

"Daniels, Pulley, and Board played great on both offense and defense during the game," said JV Head Coach Keith Jennings.

Coach Jennings realizes that the basketball future at Bluefield looks to be a bright one judging by the success of this years JV team. The majority already see some time on varsity and the rest will most likely transition over next season.

"I am very proud of these young men, I am sure that our team will be better next season due in large parts to these players," said Jennings.
