Bluefield, VA—The Lady Rams Volleyball team lost a hard- fought conference battle versus Virginia Intermont College losing the series 3-2 on Tuesday evening.
The teams played in five matches (25-21; 22-25; 25-18; 21-25; 15-11) with the Rams winning in matches 2 and 4. Alyssa Weddle and Megan Randall led the team in kills with 12 and 11 respectively. Morgan Hill (27) and Yeda Duarte (26) led the team in digs for the games totaling up for the team 100 digs.
The Lady Rams who are 2-11 this season and have a conference record of 1-4, with the conference win coming against Reinhardt University, will go on the road for four games against Tennessee Wesleyan, Emory and Henry, Bluefield State College, and Concord College.
The Lady Rams return home on October 7 for a game against Montreat College at 6:30 pm in the dome.
