
Cataldi and Morris Rank in the First NCCAA Poll
The women's basketball team had two players ranked in the Mid- East Region listings when the National Christian College Athletic Association poll was announced for the first week.

Bluefield, VA—The women's basketball team had two players ranked in the Mid- East Region listings when the National Christian College Athletic Association poll was announced for the first week.
The Lady Rams (6-5) received a fourth place ranking in the NCCAA polls, and ranked as a team in 22nd place in points per game with a total of 640 points averaging 64 points a game, they also ranked 20th in blocks in the NCCAA with 22 total for the team.
The Lady Rams also had two individual players rank in the Mid- East Region portion of the polls. Antonia Cataldi, a sophomore post player from Warrenton, Virginia was ranked in 6th place in blocks having 8 blocks thus far in the season. Following behind her in 7th place was teammate Katrina Morris, the senior post player from Tampa, Florida has 7 blocks for the Lady Rams.
The Lady Rams are coming off of a loss against Winston Salem State University on Saturday but continue their stretch of road games again this weekend. The Lady Rams will play in two exhibition games this weekend against High Point University at 7:00 pm in High Point, North Carolina on the 11th then hit the court the next day against Wofford College in an exhibition game at 3:00 pm in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The Lady Rams will have a rare home game before celebrating the Christmas holiday against Mount Vernon Nazarene at 5:00 pm in the dome. They will play local rival, Bluefield State College on January 3 at 7:00 pm in the dome.
