Bluefield, VA—The Rams were out- kicked against National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) rival Campbellsville University on Saturday.
The Rams took 7 shots and 5 shots on goal, to Campbellsville's 29 shots and 9 shots on goal. The Rams had 7 different players make the 7 shots. Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Player of the Week and National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) student athlete of the week Nago Mbengue made one, Timmy Michaels, Kody Tremblay, Tyler Koerwitz, Joey Waltz, Chris Hughes, and Teddy Tamene also each had a shot a piece.
Michaels, Tremblay, Mbengue, Koerwitz, and Hughes each had a shot on goal but none made it past Cambellsville goalie James Clements. Jeff Field, played goalie for Bluefield College where he allowed 4 goals and recorded 5 saves in the game.
The Rams will play at home against West Virginia Tech on September 23 at 3:00 pm and again on Saturday versus Reinhardt University at 2:00 pm.
