BLUEFIELD, Va. — — Byron Carpenter scored 24 points to lead Bluefield College to a 92-73 Appalachian Athletic Conference win over Tennessee Wesleyan on Wednesday night at the Dome Gymnasium.

Byron Carpenter led the Rams in scoring with 24 points.
Takieya Rouse scored 18 points for the Lady Rams in the loss. |

Rob Wright added 21 and Jewuan Wynn tossed in 16 for the Rams.
Carpenter also had 14 rebounds and Wynn added seven rebounds and five assist, while Wright added five assists in the win.
E'Jay Ward led three Bulldogs in double figures with 19.
Women
Tenn Wesleyan 71, Bluefield 62
BLUEFIELD, Va. — Tayieka Rouse scored 18 points and Kia Gilliard added 13, but the Lady Rams dropped an AAC decision to the Bulldogs.
Rouse also had six rebounds for Bluefield.
Am Jo Castor paced Tennessee Wesleyan with 19 points.
