Bluefield, Virginia- The Bluefield College Athletics department is proud to be the co-host of the 2012 NCCAA Women's Softball National Championships alongside the Botetourt Sports Complex in Botetourt, Virginia from May 9-12, 2012. 

Bluefield will assist in the development and management of the national tournament including staffing the entire workforce for the event with media, sports information, public address, field marshalls, tournament scheduling, team hosting and much more. 

The championships are held at the Botetourt Sports Complex, a suburb of Roanoke, with four championship-caliber softball fields and state-of-the-art pressbox areas and dugouts. 

Bluefield holds the bid as hosts for a total of three years, and are in their second season of the three-year contract. 

The nation's top ten teams arrive in Botetourt in search of taking home the national crown. Last year, teams came in from California, Kansas, Tennessee, Ohio, Pennslyvania and South Carolina- with North Greenville University taking home the title.
