BC, SWCC Choirs Combine to Offer Community Choral Celebration
Bluefield College's select voice ensemble, Variations, will join in concert with Southwest Virginia Community College's Community Chorus for a Choral Celebration, Sunday, November 15 at 3 p.m.

Hosted by SWCC, the Choral Celebration will take place in the Lawson Auditorium of the King Community Center and will feature individual performances from both choral groups, as well as a combined concert of the two choirs.
Bluefield College's Variations, under the direction of BC's Bryant Moxley, assistant professor and chair of the Department of Music, will perform "To You I Call" by Dale Grotenhuis, "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty" by F. Melius Christiansen, and "Shout Glory!" by Byron J. Smith.
With Southwest Virginia Community College's Community Chorus, directed by Dr. Joseph Trivette, SWCC's Gaynelle Lockhart Albert Chair of Music, Variations will sing "Rise Up, Shepherd, and Follow" by Andre J. Thomas, "The God Who Gave Us Life" from Testament of Freedom by Randall Thompson, and "Be Thou My Vision" by J.K. Ford.
