BC Splits with Bryan
Cameron Hynes and Joe Gatewood each had a homerun during the three game Bryan series.

Bluefield, VA—The Rams split their recent series against Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) opponent Bryan College in Bryan, Tennessee.
Cameron Hynes had one homerun in game one against Bryan College.
Joe Gatewood had a homerun in game two of the three game Bryan series.
The Rams opened up the series with an evening game of Friday evening sending senior Adam Hoyt to the mound. Hoyt pitched 8.2 innings where he had seven runs on eight hits with three earned runs, four walks, and 14 strikeouts during the game.
The Rams lost 7-5 in the early game despite scoring two runs early in the ninth inning before Bryan College returned to bat. Cameron Hynes had a homerun during the Bryan game where both Kyle Cabral, Travis Weaver, Joe Gatewood, and Zac Goodyear had doubles in the game.
In game one of the Saturday doubleheader games the Rams sent David Gibson to the mound where he pitched a complete game. Gibson had five runs on eight hits with four walks and five strikeouts as the Rams went on to win game two 7-5.
Joe Gatewood had a homerun in the game as well as a double. Gatewood also had five RBI's in the game with Hynes and Cabral each contributing one in the seven run victory. Final game numbers were seven runs on 13 hits with two errors.
In the final game of the Bryan series the Rams were hoping to continue the winning momentum by sending Eli Smurthwaite to the mound. Smurthwaite pitched a little of five innings with eight runs on 12 hits and one walk and two strikeouts before being retired for the game. Joey Andrews took over pitching duties to put the game away with the Rams dropping game three 8-3 to wrap up the series.
Cabral, Travis Weaver, and Andrew Weaver each had a run in the three run loss for the Rams. Smurthwaite received the loss for the Rams, final game numbers were three runs on eight hits with two errors.
