BC Dominates Emory and Henry
Rams beat Emory and Henry College 12-7....

Bluefield, VA—The Bluefield College Rams came up huge against NCAA Division III member Emory and Henry winning 12-7.

The Rams had 17 hits and 12 runs in the game with three Rams Kyle Cabral, Zac Goodyear, and Eli Smurthwaite hitting homeruns during the game. Goodyear had five RBI's and had three hits and three runs during his five at bats. Smurthwaite followed behind Goodyear with three RBI's and two runs off of four hits.
Ethan Lewis had the start for the Rams where he pitched five innings and having eight hits, three earned runs, one walk, and four strikeouts during his time on the mound. Also, seeing pitching action for the Rams was Taylor Marshall who pitched two solid innings for the Rams with two hits and one strikeout. Chastin Akers and Josh McQuade each pitched an inning for the Rams with McQuade giving up four runs in the final inning.
Ethan Lewis moved to 2-0 on the season after receiving the win against Emory and Henry. Final box numbers for the Rams were 12 runs on 17 hits with three errors.
