Bluefield, VA—Be one of the first to meet and see the 2010-2011Bluefield College men's and women's basketball teams on October 26 at 7:00 pm in the dome.

The Basketball Blast-Off hosted by BC will spotlight the 2010-2011 teams led by seniors Rob Wright on the men's team and by Kiara Williams, Kiara Honore', and Katrina Morris on the women's team. The Blast-Off will also feature a blue and white scrimmage, a red and white scrimmage, Fellowship for Christian Athletes (FCA) and RAM E.F.F.O.R.T. presentations.

The BC Blast-Off will also feature "Late Night with Steve and Rich" where women's head coach Steve Hardin and men's head coach Richard Morgan there will be interviews with both coaches about their upcoming season and what they expect from their new players and returning players, and other topics surrounding the basketball season.

"Great people talk about ideas, average people talk about things, small people talk about other people," said men's head coach Richard Morgan about the David Letterman style portion of the program.

The Blast-Off will also have a 3-point contest featuring players versus coaches. Finally the Blast-Off will conclude with a dunk contest also present for the dunk contest will be last year's champion Luke Shortridge. Throughout the night the will offer prize giveaways on items such as warm- up tops, jerseys, t-shirts, cards/pictures signed by players and coaches, and other Ram items will be raffled off; $1 for one ticket or $5 for arm's length.
