Jubilate Mozart!

The Bluefield College Choir will participate in the sixth annual Salzburg Choral Festival to be held July 3-7, 2019 at the Salzburger Dom in Salzburg, Austria. The ensemble will sing alongside other select choruses from around the world, all under the direction of Stan Engebretson, Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies at George Mason University, and Professor János Czifra, renowned music director at the Salzburger Dom. In addition to performing the Salzburg festival, the Bluefield College Choir will be featured in performance in Vienna and Budapest.

This spectacular festival culminates in a performance of Mozart’s Coronation Mass, K. 317, in collaboration with the Orchester der Salzburger Dommusik and Austrian soloists under the direction of Herr Czifra, as well as selected works to be directed by Dr. Engebretson. Bluefield College Choir looks forward to touring the region and performing in Mozart’s esteemed birth city. For more information, visit mozartchoralfestival.org or contact John Moir below.
