Other Sources – We encourage students to seek aid from every possible source such as employer reimbursement, employer pay, community organizations, churches and local scholarship programs. We also periodically send out scholarship newsletters to our students. Ask about the Catherine Corte Payne Scholarship for Adult Learners, the Rheba Haynes Gunter Scholarship for nursing students, the Gare LeCompte Scholarship, and the Tazewell County Nursing Scholarship. You can also check out www.fastweb.com and www.finaid.org. If you receive an outside scholarship, please notify us so that we can add the expected funds to your award package, and make any necessary adjustments to your student loans.
