The online bachelor’s degree completion in Public Safety with a concentration in Homeland Security & Emergency Management analyzes various methods of identifying threats and taking proactive measures to protect assets of public and private sectors.

Course subjects include origins of natural and terrorist-caused disasters; local, state, and federal emergency management planning and operations; health infrastructure capabilities; public communication strategies; business community concerns; legal and constitutional issues in homeland security; types of weapons of mass destruction and types of attacks; and other topics alike.

The online, eight-week course format allows students to work on course assignments at their convenience and move quickly through the program.
