Biological Studies

When you select the Biological Studies Concentration of the biology major at Bluefield College, the advanced courses you take are up to you! You’ll have the option of taking courses in human anatomy, genetics, ecology, molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry, zoology, and more! In further keeping with our promise to personalize your education, you will have the option of completing an internship directly related to your career plans– be it in wildlife management, forestry, environmental science, medicine, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, education, or whatever. At Bluefield College you will find small class sizes, with all science coursework and laboratories taught by full-time faculty holding a Ph.D.
