Accreditation

Institutional accreditation is a mark of quality. Strict standards in areas such as degree programs, courses, faculty, administration, and student support and services must be met in order to qualify for and receive accreditation.

Accreditation also ensures that courses taken and degrees earned through Bluefield College will be accepted by other institutions that are also accredited by an agency that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Bluefield College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate, baccalaureate, and masters degrees.

Contact the Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 or call 404.679.4500 for questions about the accreditation of Bluefield College.
